Our strategic partnerships also include the clients we serve, assisting them and their teams of Architects, Designers, and General Contractors to budget projects efficiently and accurately, well before our need to procure materials and execute a quality installation.

One way we do so is by working with the best manufacturers across the nation to offer our customers the highest quality finishes at the most competitive prices. We continually meet with leadership from these manufacturers to ensure we stay ahead of the curve, while still supporting quality products that work.
Through trade organizations, like Starnet Commercial Flooring Partnership, we meet regularly with the industry’s best commercial flooring leaders, sharing best practices with leaders from over 185 commercial flooring dealers across North America. Starnet’s Preferred Vendors also assist our efforts to advance product development, best practices, sustainability, and cost-saving strategies that benefit the clients we serve. Both our CEO and President serve on Starnet’s Advisory Council, as well as chair their respective committees (our CEO leads the organization’s Vendor Committee and our President chairs the Specifier / Business Development Committee). Other members of Universal Metro’s staff are also involved in Starnet Committees like Best Practices.
Lastly, our team is actively involved with the World Floor Covering Association (WFCA), Floor Covering Installation Contractors Association (FCICA), National Tile Council of America (NTCA), and other reputable organizations, which help advocate for the industry, while enhancing specification and certification requirements.
